Important News About my LIFE in Stamps!

Hello Crafty People,

First let me say, thanks so much for your support of my LIFE in Stamps.  Things are growing and changing for me in many positive ways.

I have recently gotten a contract I have wanted for several months and also have taken on additional design work.  This is actually quite an exciting time for me.  With my workload increasing, along with my classes, retreats etc. with iClassygirl.com I am finding myself out of time!  Therefore, I have come to the decision to discontinue my LIFE in Stamps.  It is my intention to continue to draw, as well as offer for sale and FREE stamps over the coming months via the iClassygirl.com Blog.

I want to thank you for the time you have spent with me.  I hope that you enjoyed the few months that you were with my LIFE in Stamps and I hope that you will stick around and follow along on the iClassygirl.com blog, for challenges, classes, retreats, cruises and plenty of crafty inspiration!

You can still purchase available stamps here.  However, be sure to check iClassygirl.com for any NEW and FREE stamps!

Again, thank you for your time and continued support.

Have a wonderful day,

Just A Little Note...

Happy Thursday,

Kim here... and today I'm showing you a card using Happy Lady from the new August Member Kit. The paper I used is from my stash and is made by Kate Knight, the rhinestones, ribbon and flowers are from my stash as well.  I colored the image with Copic markers. The "Just a little note" is a rubber stamp.

You brighten my day

Hello all, Jovan here from Cards by Jovan
Today I'm showing you two cards using the new August kit...I just LOVE this kit!
My first card is using the wonderful lanterns. I colored them with promarkers and cut them out so I could add twine to them. The sentiment is from Pink by Design.  I think it came out really cute.

For my second card I used Asian Lady from the kit.  She was also colored with promarkers.  I added an action wobble to her for some fun dimension. The crinkled ribbon is from 3 Girl JAM and the sentiment is from Pink by Design.
This kit is so much FUN and it's a must have.

Missing You

I  wanted to do something a little different, I don't make too many cards for men so I decided that I would use the Father's Day kit and create something other than a Father's Day card. Once I had him colored (Prismacolor & Copic markers) and matted (background paper is from Basic Grey), I wasn't sure if I wanted to put a sentiment on the card. I figured if I didn't, it could be used for any ocassion.  Once I was done, I was feeling a certain way :-) and decided to use "Missing You".  That was from a sheet of stickers in my stash.

America the Beautiful - For this card I used the 4th of July kit. I used one of the sketches that was included in the kit. I merged the sentiment into the journal box. Once again keeping with the goal of using what I have, the ribbon, background paper, thank you sticker and rhinestones are all things from the famous stash. The circles were made with Spellbinders dies.
There are just so many things you can do with this kit, and it's not just for the 4th of July. I will be donating this card and several others to an organization that send cards to the troops.

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to check back soon or sign up for email notifications to make sure you don't miss what we have in store for August.

God Bless The USA

Hello, my name is Kim. I'm engaged to my high school sweetheart and I have a Poodle that think he's human. I'm a Cali girl at heart. Born and raised in Los Angeles, but currently residing in Central VA. I've been crafty most of my life. It started with the construction paper, glitter and glue.:-)  I use to scrapbook everyday and once I discovered cardmaking I haven't done much scrapbooking. It's been at least 7 years since.I've done a scrapbook page. It is my goal to start scrapbooking before the end of the summer. :-)
The card I'm sharing today I used the heart and sentiment from the July kit!  I colored it with Prismacolor markers, and keeping with my goal of using things that I already have in my craftroom, the paper and bling are from my stash.   There are just so many things you can do with this kit, and it's not just for the 4th of July. I will be donating this card and several others to an organization that send cards to the troops.

If you enjoyed what the design team has done with the July kit, you are going to absolutely love the August kit. Stay tuned!

Thanks for stopping by.
